This gotta have gadget will make preparing and serving tea a unique experience! A Tea Stick is a stainless steel infuser that provides optimum flow for perfect steeping of gourmet loose tea. It holds just enough tea to brew a single cup.

Simply slide back the perforated sleeve to reveal the receptacle. Then scoop up your favorite blend of tea leaves and fill to the appropriate serving line, slide the sleeve closed and place in a full cup of hot water, swirl the Tea Stick around once or twice, and then let it remain in the cup to allow the tea to steep. The Tea Stick is perfect for medium sized full leaf teas.

I’m surprised that you do not get a slight metallic taste with these, though for some reason I feel a more “natural” approach is best when steeping. Though I have no basis as I’ve never tried it!

Pat, at first I thought the same thing; but since it is made of stainless steel the flavor of the tea is not impacted at all. It’s the same as using a stainless steel teaspoon-type infuser. Also there are plastic (heat resistant) tea sticks for herbal and specialty teas.

I agree with you.There are quite different types of tea sticks made of different materials,but the use of stainless steel tea stick is quite good and doesn’t make any difference with the taste of tea.
