The Splash Stick Tea Cosy

It is a green plastic stirrer that fits perfectly into the sip hole in the mouth of Starbucks coffee lids to keep coffee warm longer and prevent harmful spills from hot liquids. The Splash Stick invention was the result of feedback from loyal customers, and can only be found at Starbucks Coffee Shops.

Most Starbucks Coffee aficionados are used to this practical tool; but what they most likely don’t know is that it can also serve as a tea cosy for Tazo Tea on-the-go.

Just recently I stopped in one of the coffee shops to get a Tazo Tea Chai Latte. It was my first experience with the little green mermaid (Starbuck’s logo), and I was pleasantly surprised at how efficient it was at sealing in the tea’s flavor as well as minimizing splashes.
