A few weeks ago my sister introduced me to a refreshing and unique tea blend from Teavana. This blend is a combination of two teas: White Ayurvedic Chai and Samurai Chai Mate. When mixed together, they make Samurai Chai Tea—a light and energetic blend that does not require any sweetener, lemon or other taste boosters.
Each of these teas can be enjoyed separately, but there’s just something about the blended taste that offers the tea enthusiast a gourmet sipping experience.

This chai tea is set apart by spicy bursts of cinnamon, cloves and black and red pepper tempered with sweet coconut and delicate lemongrass. These complex flavors enhance the Ayurvedic properties of this rare white tea.

Inspired by the Way of the Warrior, this fresh green Mate is imbued with strong spices, invigorating herbs and revitalizing citrus. A wonderful cup of tea that will get you moving—especially in the morning. It contains Green Mate, Red Rooibos, cinnamon, candied pineapple bits, orange peel, lemongrass, aniseed, coriander, cardamom, almonds, and cornflower blossoms and nuts.

| I enjoyed the sweet robust yet light taste of white tea blended with Mate.
There was no aftertaste that usually accompanies most Rooibos tea blends. | This tea blend does not come pre-packaged; you usually have to ask for it specifically or purchase both teas and make your own.
It can be quite expensive. If you find you don't like it, there's twice as much tea left on hand. |
