Tea Review: Revolution Tea at PF Chang’s China Bistro

revolution organic green teaMy search for a flavorful organic green tea took me to P.F. Chang’s China Bistro. While expecting to enjoy a great meal in a setting that blends classic Chinese design with a modern bistro look, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the house brand of tea is Revolution Tea. You can select from a variety of blends including Citrus Spice Herbal Tea, and of course Revolution Tea Organic Green Tea.

ProsCons
Fresh light green tea flavor. Good for multiple infusions—one infuser bag brewed three small pots of tea without diluting its strength or minimizing the flavor.I still like loose tea without a filter when brewing pots of tea; but the infuser bag is great for single cups.

Revolution is a good higher-end tea that comes in bags. I’ve seen that it’s really just loose leaf tea in a fancy bag that seems to be nylon. It’s good stuff but realize you’re going to pay a lot for the packaging and brand rather than for the value of the tea. –Teaternity
