The busiest shopping day of the year in the USA is the day after Thanksgiving. We Americans affectionately call this day, Black Friday. It’s the traditional first day of the Christmas shopping season. You should see all the door buster sales and media advertisement hype announcing outrageous shopping deals. It’s a frantic day with long lines and major traffic jams.
Stress levels rage at an all time high as shoppers jostle each other to be among the first to purchase a coveted item. But…YOU don’t have to go with the crowd this Black Friday. You can stay home and shop online for delicious tea goodies and accessories while enjoying a pot of your favorite freshly brewed gourmet tea. Now, of course you can also shop for other items in the comfort of your own home; but deciding which gifts to choose for the tea enthusiasts on your list can be a lot of fun as you sip a cup of pur-erh, green, or Earl Grey Crème teas.
So, this Black Friday, instead of rushing out into the crowd (unless you take great pleasure in doing so); stay at home, relax and unwind, put your feet up, comfortably position your laptop, browse the web for bargains, and most of all savor cup after cup of soothing gourmet tea. Add a little comfort food such as scones and tea cakes to increase your pleasure and create a festive atmosphere. I bet this will get you in the Christmas holiday mood!

I’ve thought Black Friday to be a fun day some years and not a good time on others. As long as I don’t wander too far from home it’s kind of nice to see all the people. Then I can get away if it turns too hectic. But yes, the best way to spend the day is to make it a tea day.
