Create your own green tea latte, frappe or smoothie at home with Matcha Green Tea Lattes and Frappe Mixes. For an easy and convenient way to make Matcha tea specialty drinks that are better than Starbuck’s, simply add the green tea powder mix to milk.

For Green Tea Lattes, heat on a stovetop or with an espresso machine steam maker, or blend with ice for smoothies and frappes.

Matcha is premium green tea powder made in Japan from the whole green tea leaf. Traditionally whisked with water and consumed entirely unlike loose tea leaves, Matcha provides a more concentrated degree of green tea antioxidants, vitamins and minerals. Containing high amounts of amino acids found almost exclusively in green tea, Matcha is known to help provide energy while relaxing the mind. It also adds fiber to the diet.

These mixes look like something I’d like to do but I’d want to make them with soymilk and I’d need to have some of that on hand. I typically don’t and that’s why I’d prefer going to Starbucks where I can also conveniently get a cold Green Tea Latte made with Matcha just like these but without the hassle of heating and then cooling the drink. However, if cost is a consideration then making these at home is certainly the right idea.
