According to an article by MSNBC Online, Green tea-flavored Coca-Cola hit Japanese stores a couple of weeks ago. This new cola has zero calories and contains green tea extracts as well as antioxidants called catechins, which leave a slight green tea aftertaste. Green tea flavored Coca-Cola is mainly targeted at health-conscious women under 40 years old who are looking for something that tastes good but is also good for health and beauty.

Although it sounds good, I’m not sure I can quite get my head around drinking a bottle of green tea Coke. Sounds a bit like an oxymoron if you ask me! However, the jury is out on the Japanese verdict. We’ll just have to wait and see.
