Christmas Teas

christmas teaEvery major tea manufacturer makes a Christmas tea blend. These blends have a black, green, white, or oolong tea base combined with aromatic Christmas spices like cloves, cinnamon, and flavorings of vanilla or orange. Some even include citrus peels and bits of dried apples, currants or other seasonal fruit.

One of the oldest tea companies in Europe, Dammann Freres, is famous for its Christmas tea blend. The addition of almond flavoring to their Christmas tea sets it apart from that of other manufacturers. The Damman Company has been producing exceptional high quality teas in France since 1925. In 1932 they were made official supplier of the ‘Grande Compagnie Transatlantique’ and their teas we served on luxury liners like the Normandie and the France.

This Christmas, you don’t have to be on the high seas to enjoy their Christmas tea blend. It is imported from France and is easily attainable.
