The seventh annual National Iced Tea Month is being celebrated as I write this post—in fact the celebration has been going on for the last 16 days (imagine my missing it).
For a joyous celebration, you are asked to drink a tall glass of iced tea each day of the month. So, since I’ve been remiss at letting you know about it, why not drink two glasses to catch up (I like that idea a lot, since I couldn’t stop at one glass anyway).
To help you celebrate in a big way, I’ll be adding a post or two about different ways to enjoy refreshing iced tea along with my very own special and original and famous iced tea recipe!
For starters, check out this Bodum Ceylon Iced-Tea Maker. It’s great for all occasions, during hot summers as well as cold winters and makes 102 ounces of your favorite iced tea. Here’s how to use it:
- Simply add your preferred tea leaves into the removable filter and fill it half way with hot water.
- Allow the tea to brew to your liking and then remove the filter to stop the brewing process.
- Fill the rest of the pitcher with ice and after just one minute you are ready to serve fresh iced tea.
In addition to iced tea, the Bodum Ceylon Iced-Tea Makercan be used for all kinds of delicious infused drinks like orange juice with mint leaves, sangria with lots of fruit slices or ice water with cucumber or lime slices.
The filter system is removable allowing it to double as a nice pitcher. The lid includes a screening filter to help prevent loose tea leaves from flowing into your cup.
