I used to live in a town that had a library with a coffee shop inside. You could buy a cup of fresh gourmet coffee and sit and browse through books all day long. It was so soothing, that many times I stayed until closing, hating to miss a moment of the solace created by the rich aroma of brewing coffee and the peace and solitude a library engenders.
Many gourmet coffee companies are petitioning city councils throughout the USA for the privilege of setting up coffee shops inside local public libraries. Even community mom and pop coffee shops are taking advantage of neighborhood revitalization programs and outbidding franchise companies for these lucrative opportunities.
If you like to read and enjoy coffee while doing it, find a public library close to you that has a coffee shop and spend a bit of time there.
